A Texas man eager to join ISIS took the formal route — he sent the terror group his resume along with a cover letter explaining that he was well-equipped to teach English.
"I am looking to get a position teaching English to students in the Islamic State," Warren Clark, a 33-year-old University of Houston graduate, penned in the cover letter, which was addressed to "Director."
Using the pseudonym Abu Muhammad al-Ameriki, Clark continued, "I was born and raised in the United States and have always loved teaching others and learning from others as well. My work background is largely in English and I consider working at the University of Mosul to be a great way of continuing my career."
Clark's unsettlingly polite job application to the brutal terror network was obtained by researchers at George Washington University, who released an extensive report on American jihadists in Syria and Iraq this week. [...]
