Three Muslim Women Planned Knife Massacre In Heart Of London

From Mirror:
Three women accused of forming an all-female Islamist hit squad to carry out a knife attack in Westminster will stand trial in November.

Mina Dich, 43, her daughter Rizlaine Boular, 21, and Khawla Barghouthi, 20, plotted 'to murder a person or persons unknown', it is claimed.

Boular was shot and wounded by armed police as the trio were arrested during a series of raids on 27 April.

Officers arrested the youngster and Barghouthi after firing CS gas into a house in Harlesden, northwest London, while Dich was detained in a separate raid in Kent.

Today they appeared via video link at the Old Bailey charged with one count of engaging in the preparation of a terrorist act and one count of conspiracy to murder between 11 and 28 April.

Boular, who was charged after being treated for her injuries in hospital, and Dich were wearing traditional Muslim face veils covering their entire faces.

Mr Justice Holroyd asked them to lift their veils to show their eyes before accepting the assurances of prison officers at HMP Bronzefield that they were who they said they were.

Barghouthi wore a hijab that did not cover her face.

Listing the case for trial on 20 November, Justice Holroyd said: "I hope the three of you have been able to understand what's been going on this afternoon.

"It's essentially dealing with a time table for these proceedings.

"I regret it's not possible for your trial to be fixed earlier than 20 November, there will be another hearing between now and then on a a date yet to be fixed in October.

"If for any reason you choose not to appear you must understand the court may simply proceed without you and the case will be heard in your absence."

Boular, of Mount Pleasant, Clerkenwell, central London, Barghouthi, of Harlesden Road, Harlesden, northwest London, and Dich, of St George's Wharf, Lambeth, southwest London, were remanded in custody ahead of their trial in November.
