(CNN) -- The shooter who killed nine people in Munich, Germany, was an 18-year-old German-Iranian who had lived in the city for more than two years, Munich police said early Saturday. The shooter killed himself and 21 people were injured, police said. The assailant's motives are unclear and he was not previously known to police, Munich's police chief said at a news conference.
