ISLAMABAD – The district administration of Islamabad has banned all kind of celebrations in connections with the upcoming Valentine’s Day.
Private TV channel reported that the ban was put in place following orders from Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan. In its announcement, the Islamabad district administration said that strict action will be taken against those celebrating the Valentine’s Day in any part of Islamabad.
Valentine's Day – also known as Saint Valentine's Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine – is a celebration observed on February 14 each year. It is celebrated in many countries around the world, although it is not a public holiday in most of them.
