Don't Shoot Or We'll Sue: Terrorists In Compensation Bid Against British Army

Lawyers have been hit with 2,000 claims from Taliban insurgents suing the British Government.

Captured terrorists claim their human rights were breached and want huge compensation payouts.

Complaints include illegal arrests, wrongful imprisonment and abuse in jail by the British Army in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Other cases are being brought by families who claim their loved ones were unlawfully killed.

Experts fear that the avalanche of legal action will means our troops may now be scared of breaking the law if they shoot the enemy on the battlefield.

But the Government is opposing the compo claims.

A senior source said: “We are absolutely determined to close down these outrageous legal challenges.” [...]
